Cross Pollinate Southern Africa

The Cross Pollinate Southern Africa trip was last held in 2023 and is in the early stages of planning for a future year. While the 2023 event included minors and was largely based in Zimbabwe, the next Cross Pollinate trip will span South Africa and Zimbabwe, with the possibility of additional countries. The trip will be custom-designed for up to ten adults, with exceptional meals, accommodations, and safari and cultural experiences. For many, this would be a once-in-a-lifetime program.

Event details:

The trip will take place between July and September, a window that allows for optimal climate and game-viewing conditions.

The trip is being coordinated by Cross Pollinate advisor Kerryn Seward of the Williams and Parker Family Office, and will bring together exceptional safari, business, political, and economic experiences drawn from deep relationships across the region.

Estimated cost for a single traveler is approximately $1,500 per day, not including international airfare. This estimate covers all internal transport (primarily by private aircraft with vetted providers), meals, drinks, lodging, ground transportation, safari, and tips. With the exception of Harare, all accommodations are effectively five-star. Once we have a sense of the group composition – couples, singles, or a mix – we can refine estimates, as partners will not be charged at the full single-traveler rate. Costs have been substantially reduced through Kerryn’s deep relationships with regional providers and will be spread across the group. As a point of reference, accommodations that might normally run $1,500 per night have been negotiated to rates as low as $300, an 80% reduction.
